When peace seems far away...
Your mind races, your body won’t settle, and stress keeps taking center stage. You know you need rest — but sometimes it feels impossible to turn everything off.
That’s where vibroacoustic therapy comes in. This powerful, science-backed modality uses low-frequency sound waves and music to gently guide your body into a deeply relaxed, meditative state. It’s like a nervous system reset — without the work.
How it Works

1
Get Comfy
You’ll lie fully clothed on our ergonomic sound lounger, designed to cradle your body in comfort. We’ll provide a cooling 15-pound weighted blanket, pillow, and optional eye mask to help you fully settle in. Sessions last 20 or 40 minutes — your choice of pure bliss.

Sound Becomes Sensation
As soothing music plays through headphones, low-frequency vibrations gently pulse through the lounger and your body. These frequencies help calm your nervous system, improve heart rate variability, and cue your body to release stress and tension.
3
Drift into Deep Relaxation
Your body and brain begin to sync with the rhythm, guiding you into a restorative, meditative state. Guests often describe it as floating in sound or being held in stillness. Pain, anxiety, and stress all start to melt away.

Still not sure if sound will help?
We know this might be a new experience, and it’s natural to have questions. Vibroacoustic therapy is gentle, safe, and deeply effective — even if you’ve never tried @nything like it before. Think of it as a science-backed nap that resets your system. Whether you're managing chronic stress or simply need a moment of peace, you're in good hands here. Below are some of the most common questions we get.
Frequently Asked Questions about Vibroacoustic Therapy
Come as you are! You’ll remain fully clothed for this service, so wear something comfortable that allows you to fully relax.
Q: What should I wear?
Q: Can I listen to my own music?
To get the therapeutic benefits of the frequencies, we recommend using the provided music. The tracks are designed specifically for relaxation and nervous system regulation. The music we play through the lounger is what creates the sound you'll feel, and not all music is designed to create physical sensations.
Q: Is it safe for everyone?
Most people tolerate vibroacoustic therapy very well, but if you have a pacemaker, are pregnant, or have a seizure disorder, we recommend checking with your doctor before booking. 1) Pacemakers: Vibroacoustic therapy uses low-frequency sound vibrations that pass through the body. While these are gentle and non-invasive, there's a theoretical risk that external vibrations or electromagnetic fields (even minor ones) could interfere with the operation of electronic implants like pacemakers or defibrillators. Though rare, it’s a safety precaution widely recommended in sound therapy. 2) Pregnancy: There’s no known harm from vibroacoustic therapy during pregnancy, and some practices do offer it to pregnant clients. However, due to the limited research on its effects on pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, many providers take a conservative approach. The body’s heightened sensitivity during pregnancy and the potential for unknown variables make it best to check with a healthcare provider first — just to be safe. 3) Seizure Disorders: Vibroacoustic therapy uses rhythmic, low-frequency vibrations paired with calming music. For most people, these frequencies are deeply relaxing and therapeutic. However, for individuals with photosensitive or audio-induced epilepsy, any kind of pulsing sound or frequency—especially if paired with binaural beats or certain music patterns—could theoretically increase the risk of a seizure. That said, seizure triggers vary greatly from person to person. Some people with epilepsy use vibroacoustic therapy safely and regularly. But because it's not possible to predict how someone will respond — and because seizure disorders can be complex — it’s best to: A) Avoid use without a physician’s approval B) Skip any soundtracks that use pulsing or beat-based entrainment C) Provide the gentlest, most consistent vibrational program if cleared by a doctor
Q: Can I combine this with other services?
Absolutely. Many guests enjoy pairing vibroacoustic therapy with float therapy (at our Float Center & Salt Cave location), infrared, massage chair, or red light for a deeply immersive wellness experience.
Q: Do I have to use the weighted blanket?
Not at all! Our blanket has a special cover that prevents you from getting overheated. The weight offers added comfort, pain relief, and reduces anxiety. If you prefer a different blanket, we have others available upon request.
Q: What if I fall asleep?
Well, we call the vibroacoustic lounger the "nap station". If you do fall asleep, which happens often with the 40-minute session, you'll get great rest. And we'll gently wake you by playing an audio track, knocking on your station, and tapping your foot.
Q: Can I try longer than 40 minutes in the vibroacoustic lounger?
Sure! Your first session is 20 minutes, but you're welcome to schedule back-to-back sessions for as long as you'd like. Our audio tracks are 20 and 40 minutes, so there might be a slight delay as we manually start the next playlist.
