in a treehouse-inspired salt cave
Sitting in a salt cave has many of the same effects as sitting on the beach for a few hours. You get to breathe in the salty air and walk away feeling refreshed.
Our salt cave is a playful, unique environment where you'll get to walk in the salt, sit in a cave, and enjoy the views from a treehouse, all at the same time!
Our cave accommodates up to 15 people for private events. We are currently booking only two individuals in the space at a time, unless you are part of the same party.
Halotherapy is also known as dry salt therapy, and it evolved from speleotherapy. For 45 minutes, you sit in a peaceful environment and breathe in finely ground pharmaceutical grade salt. The micro-particles of salt are carried through your nasal passage into your airway passages and lungs. Its natural anti-bacterial properties begin dissolving pollutants and allowing the airways to open.
Salt that isn't inhaled lands on your body, providing additional healing benefits to exposed skin. This therapy complements traditional medical treatments for respiratory, skin, and mental health conditions.
Salt is naturally antibacterial, antiviral, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory. You could just say it's the "anti-bad stuff" and call it a day!

What is halotherapy?
We strongly encourage you to leave your devices behind and just allow yourself a few moments of your day to disconnect with the world and reconnect with your breath.
What should I wear?
How long is a session?
Can I float before/after my halotherapy session?
What a great idea!
How often should I sit in the salt cave?
Are there any side effects to using halotherapy?
This is a natural part of the cleaning process of the respiratory system, during which the pollution, accumulated through a long time, and now loosened up by salt, are expelled from even the deepest regions of the lungs. Such side effects should cease with the removal of pollution and pathogens.
If this occurs, decrease the frequency of salt therapy sessions.
After and prior use of the salt rooms, consume sufficient liquids to prevent dehydration. It's recommended to take 5 minutes prior to leaving the premise to consume sufficient liquids to prevent dehydration and lightheadedness before operating a motor vehicle.
Is it dark in the salt cave?
Is there a weight restriction for the salt cave seats?
Some chairs do have weight limits. The floating lounge chairs can acommodate up to 400 pounds, and the swinging hammock chair up to 350. Click here to learn more about our seating options.
Can children visit the salt cave?
We ask that any guest is mindful of noise and disturbing other guests who may be seeking quiet. Children are allowed on a case-by-case basis, typically at a time that non-relatives are not scheduled.
How long has halotherapy been "a thing"?
Halotherapy has a looooooong history. Polish miners in the 1800s noticed positive changes in their skin and respiration. They began spending 2-3 hours a day in the underground salt caves, and eventually, simulated caves were created.
Is it safe for pregnant women to use halotherapy?
It's always a good idea to check with your physician for any health concerns, but we are not aware of any contraindications between pregnancy and halotherapy.
Is your facility handicap-accessible?
With that said, we do provide a transfer bench, and we have installed grab bars in as many places as we can, and we have extra large, open showers. You're also welcome to bring someone who can assist you, but in doing so, you assume all risk and liabilities.
Who should NOT use halotherapy?
Can I use an FSA or HSA account?
Typically yes! We are classified as an alternative wellness provider and do accept FSA/HSA cards. Check with your plan to see if they cover "8099 Medical Services Health Practioners - Not Elsewhere Classified".
Do you offer an unlimited salt cave package?
We have several "off menu" options to help you meet your halotherapy and budget needs. Just ask us if you're interested in something other than our Flex Membership.
Is there a minimum requirement for the Flex Membership?
Our Flex Membership is meant to provide you with an affordable option to ensure you're getting the self-care you need and deserve. In order to ensure we're able to provide that for you, we ask for a three-month commitment and a two-week notice to cancel. We do ask you to review and sign a quick membership agreement.

It is recommended that you seek medical advice relating to your health problems; do not neglect regular medical check-ups; do not change or stop taking your medication and treatment without consulting the physician.

I love this place! My husband and I felt so relaxed after we came out of the salt cave. Plus, I got to sit and relax with some hot tea after our session with a personal salt foot heater. The owner is extremely warm and welcoming :)
